I had a pleasant stay at the Lorna Doone in Porlock. The room was cozy but served its purpose well for our one-night stopover. The service was outstanding, and the location was superb, offering easy access to both the high street amenities and the beautiful countryside. The dining experience was delightful, with a variety of breakfast options available. However, there were minor inconveniences with the room size and some furniture needs. Overall, a lovely stay with great service and a convenient location.

I found this hotel to be a cozy spot with a few minor flaws. The rooms were not huge but suited our needs perfectly, especially since we had our two dogs with us. Despite being at the front of the building, it was pleasantly quiet at night. However, the rooms were a bit small, and the bathroom had tepid hot water with a faulty extract fan.

The rooms were not massive, but perfectly fine for our stay. They accommodated us and our dogs comfortably, and despite the front location, it was quiet at night.
